Competing head to head against students far older, he earned his place at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), one of the nation's four most elite universities and widely regarded as the Caltech of China for its rigor in science and engineering. There were no shortcuts. He won his spot on the same level playing field as everyone else, and he won it early. He then brought that same drive to the United States, earning a master's degree in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), one of America's oldest and most respected technological universities. From there, Alan stepped into the heart of Silicon Valley, holding leadership roles at Yahoo, Oracle, and Microsoft, three of the most influential companies of the internet era. Those years sharpened a mind that pairs an engineer's precision with an executive's command of the bigger picture. Most people would have stopped there. Alan was just getting started. He left the comfort of corporate life to build companies of his own, applying the discipline of a technologist and the vision of an entrepreneur across high technology, real estate, finance, insurance, and wealth and tax planning. Today, as founder, president, and principal agent of Peace of Mind Wealth Management, Alan holds licenses across every major line of insurance, life, health, property, and casualty, helping families build durable protection and lasting wealth. As founder, broker, and mortgage loan originator (NMLS MLO) of Golden Gate Realty and Finance, he guides clients through every step from buying a home to financing it. Few professionals hold this trifecta of insurance, real estate, and lending credentials, and it lets Alan solve problems most advisors can only see one piece of. A technologist at his core, Alan is now bringing artificial intelligence into finance and insurance, building AI-driven firms and automated systems that make traditionally slow industries faster, smarter, and more human. He is equally committed to building other leaders. He created the SEM01 seminar series and a 90-day Fast Track onboarding system to train and develop the next generation of professionals, and he founded LicenseWin, an online real estate licensing school, to open the door to these high-value careers for anyone willing to work for it.
